Rubber or Elastomer manufacturing typically requires time, temperature and pressure to achieve a successful chemical bond between layers of extruded rubber. Temperature rise must be even and uniform. Thermal efficiencies and quick turn-around are desired and result in lower operating costs. At Anchor Autoclaves, we offer both steam and electric-dry heated options. Each vessel is manufactured for safe, reliable service with added features such as product cooling capabilities, additional temperature monitoring points, air operated control valves, Fan Motor temperature monitoring, and much more. Other options available include product cart arrangements, as well as automated loading/unloading systems. Insulation is typically 2.5" mineral wool covered with an aluminum jacket. Insulation may be installed internally or externally.
